A household that is out all day and cooks at seven in the evening gets far more out of storage than one that is home and using power while the sun is up. A garage, utility, plant room or outbuilding is typical. They need ventilation, a sensible ambient temperature and enough space around them, which is one of the things we are checking on the survey.
Manufacturers rate them in cycles and years and warrant a percentage of the original capacity at the end of that term. We will show you the actual warranty document for the unit we are quoting rather than quoting a number at you.
