We do not publish a price for solar, and there is a reason for that. A system on a three bedroom semi and a system on a working farm are not the same job, and any figure we put on a page would be wrong for most of the people reading it. What we do instead is come out, look at the roof properly, and give you a number for your property.
The site survey is free and so is the quote. We check pitch, orientation and shading, get up into the loft where we need to, look at your consumer unit and work out where an inverter and a battery would sit. We also ask to see a recent electricity bill, because how much you use and when you use it changes the sensible system size more than the size of your roof does.
You get a written quote setting out the panels, the inverter, the mounting system and the battery if you are having one, with the specification for each. No pressure to sign anything on the day, and no follow-up sales calls. If you take our quote and go elsewhere with it, that is genuinely fine. We quote a lot of work we do not win.

Fitted properly they should not. The mounting brackets go onto the rafters and the roof covering is made good round them. If we find a roof that is not sound enough to take a system, we will tell you at the survey rather than after the scaffold is up.
Yes. A flat roof takes a mounting frame set at the right angle, and barns, workshops and outbuildings are often better candidates than a house because there is more unshaded space and no aesthetic argument to have.
Panels and inverters carry manufacturer warranties, and we register yours at handover. If something goes wrong we come back out. We service and fault find systems for a living, including ones we did not install, so you are not chasing a call centre.
